X-Force disappoints, X-Factor say their goodbye and Marvel F***s with us again

The seemingly insatiable Kyle/Yost bloodlust has apparently claimed another victim. While nothing will be confirmed for at least 30 days, it seems the lovable Irish wolf-mutant has taken a bullet to the head from none other than the purifier leader (doesn’t it seem that Kyle/Yost believe them to be the good guys or something? They have more wins than any team under K/Y did). X-Force was a six-man team and they already suffered one fatality and one casualty before the series even began. So now they’ll lose another?

The good news is, for the time being the kids have managed to escape K/Y’s wrath, although the last arc did put half of them in comatose condition, who knows what became of them. The only character to spin into X-Force from New X-men is X-23. I’m pretty sure she’ll follow K/Y wherever they go.

Honestly, X-Force didn’t do much for me. While K/Y team are great writers, somehow the first issue left me wanting more, but not for long since X-Factor 28 completely filled that hole. It was quite possibly the run’s best issue. The whole issue was more or less a goodbye to Ranhe and Lyla. The X-Factor team kind of hates each other and sure they came through when they were needed, none of them really attached themselves. Now when one of them is gone and one of them is leaving (probably for good, if K/Y have anything to say about it), the whole team breaks down one by one, in their own ways. Rictor sees Lyla everywhere, Jamie kind of loses it and in perhaps the most astonishing reveal, Monet gives off a totally human moment that would make even Emma Frost sad (and destroys an iPhone in the process…what a waste).

So take my advice, if you’re kind of disappointed by the new X-Force (story and man, I hate that art), pick up X-Factor. It’s the best issue of the month, well no, that’s not true, but it would have been if Vertigo hadn’t shipped the Y’s finale out last week.

On a completely separate not, Marvel has finally gotten around to C&D on Kaskus.US. F*** you Marvel. Shutting down demonoid and Komics-Live wasn’t enough, you had to go after obscure Indonesian forums too. Isn’t anything safe anymore? How much longer will we have to keep switching sites, I don’t know how to configure DC++ okay? I cant buy comics in this goddamn country. F*** you Marvel. F*** YOU!!!
